March 26th - National 300 Pushups Day (and other unique blogging ideas you can use)

Morning!
Did you know that March 26th is National Make Up Your Own Holiday Day? And that March 28th is Something on a Stick Day?
No?
Well, do you realize this gives you rather unique ideas for writing your diet or fitness blog?
I’m taking advantage of that myself, of course. Since I’ve recently realized that my physical abilites have gone, ahem, in the downwards direction, I’m trying to improve my all-around upper body strength. Thus, I’ve designated March 26th to be:
National 300 Pushups Day!
Now, you don’t have to do them all at once of course - back in the summer, I could bang them out 50 at a time. So instead, consider doing 20 pushups every, oh, hmmm, 30 minutes. That’s 40 an hour; you’ll only need 7 and a half hours to finish them off! Think of how accomplished such a feat would make you!
Let’s apply this now to your diet and fitness blog. What kind of holiday would make sense to your readers? Perhaps:
- National Walk 1 Mile Day
- National Eat Smart Day
- National Atkins Lunch Day
- National Weight Watchers Promise Day
- National Exercise With The Kids Day
See what I mean?
This is a time to let your creativity shine! And don’t forget about Something on a Stick Day - if you blog about dieting, you can write about:
- Fruit on a Stick
- Rice Cakes on a Stick (good luck with that one)
- Meat on a Stick
and fitness folk could enjoy:
- Dumbbells on a Stick (finger strength training!)
- Balance Pilates Ball on a Stick
- Sneakers on a Stick
The key here is humor, creativity, and encouraging people to share your insights. Have fun with it!
